Technique page- Minimum depth of field

What is minimum depth of field?
Minimum depth of field is how much photograph is in focus and sharp based on the distance.

How do you do it?
1. Firstly you have to pick a main subject that you have to get close to using your camera

2.Then you have to make you aperture bigger which will be a smaller number on your camera

3. Lastly you zoom in using a larger zoom and capture the photograph.

Technique page- Sequence

What is sequencing?
Sequencing is an order of action being either combined or layered into one or more images.

How do you do it?

1. Firstly you have to find a destination where you want to shoot your photographs and work out the ideas you want to shoot to create a sequence. An example would be using people to spell a word out gradually adding everyone in the photograph.]

2. Secondly once you know what you are going to capture and have the perfect scenery you then have to put the camera on the stand and make sure its been put in firm and doesn't move. This is because your camera has to stay the same distance and position for every photograph captured. The only thing that should be moving or being increased is the models.

3. Now you can photograph your sequence allowing your self to be creative, once you are happy with your photographs you can then upload them to Photoshop.

4. Once they have been uploaded print of a contact sheet and then open a new A4 page where you can drag your photographs onto after adjusting the curves and levels.

5. Once your photographs are edited re size them to the size you want to and drag them onto the new page you have opened.

6. You can drag them in any order you wish once you have done this you can then flatten your image and print it.

Close up/ Wide angle Work diary

Work Diary

This photograph was taken for the technique close up's. This photograph is of a flower in a nature garden and in real life is very small. However because I used the technique close up this has allowed the rich colors of pinks, whites and yellows to be seen much clearer and the detail in the petals are shown much clearer as well. I feel that this photograph is high quality because of how clear and bold the picture is. In the editing process of this photograph I adjusted the levels and curves to brighten the photograph this makes the photograph look more eye catching for any consumers.

This photograph is the technique wide angle and is two photographs put together. The technique wide angle is when you angle the camera very close to an object and capture it making sure it shows the wide angle of the object being taken. In this photograph it shows the wide angle of brick wall with two photographs put together. I did this to be creative with my photographs and experiment with how effective it will look. In the editing process of this photograph I just adjusted the curves and levels to bring out the dark tones in the brick wall.

If I would go back to this shoot I would of taken more man made photograph using the technique wide angle because I feel that the photograph above works very well using wide angle.
