Personal shoot 7- Work diary

This photograph is for my personal shoot seven. This shoot was expressing the bright colours of the food colouring through pouring them in water to see the outcome. In this photograph I feel best achieved the outcome I wanted this is because the photograph shows the two colours merging into each other as well as a tie dye affect. The close up technique allows the bright colours to stand out even more and the detail of the pattern. I really like how this photograph covers the whole of the photograph as then it creates the photograph to look explosive. Furthermore this photograph looks very creative and is one of my favourite  shoots so far in my personal project close ups.

This photograph was also for my personal project close ups. This photograph was created by pouring both blue and red food colouring in a plastic tub to create a liquid base with water. Then   I photographed myself in motion of pouring the blue food colouring in the mixture. This photograph was the outcome and I feel that this photographed was a success. This is because this photograph again shows the bright colours very well and the texture of the liquid in detail. Furthermore the still motion of the liquid swirling makes this photograph very captivating and striking.

If I would go back and add to this shoot I would of taken more photographs to give myself more of a variety to edit and I also would of purchased more colours to see different combinations of colours. This would of made my photographs more creative and exciting to view.

The result of these photograph were influenced by two things. The first being the first project I did when I started in AS. This project was formal elements and the idea of shadows was the beginning of these photographs. This is because the reflecting liquids in the water create very different and interesting photographs to look at. The second influence was that in the mid project deadline we had a class discussion on our individual work and ideas were given this was one idea that was development therefore I was looking forward to shoot it.
