Location Portraiture- technique page

What is location portraiture?

Location portraiture is capturing different angles of a main focus in front of different locations to show authority in the photograph.

How do you do it?

  1. To begin with make sure that the zoom is zoomed out to allow enough content to be in the image.
  2. The aperture has to be set on the lowest f number to allow the depth of field to be shown.
  3. The turn the flash on this is to allow the photographs to come out more lighter and to avoid shadows to be seen in the photographs
  4. Once this has been done stand your model for example in front of a building and choose an angle of your choice for example high angle.
  5. This will capture a photograph of depth with the model as the main focus.
