Personal shoot 10- Work diary

This photograph was taken for my personal project close up and was a Christmas shoot. This photograph was taken at a very different angle as it allows the different sized tree decorations to be seen fully. The lighting in this photograph is very bright and this complements the bright and sparkling decorations very well as it makes them stand out even more as well. This photograph was captured in the studio and this allows the photograph to look very structured and professional. I found this shoot very fun and this photograph especially was one of my favorite. The close up technique also allows the glittery textures and smooth texture of the bigger decoration to stand out and look very interesting to look at.

This photograph was also taken as part of my personal project close up and was taken at an angle which showed a depth as the size of the decorations get smaller as the distance gets longer. This photograph's lighting is very bright and this again allows the bright and sparkling colors to stand out in this photograph as well as bringing out the textures very well. This photograph is an extreme close up and this has been taken very well as all the decorations are in focus and the photograph is a sharp quality to look at. I feel that this angle the photograph has been taken at is very creative and makes these Christmas decorations stand out and look striking to look at. Overall I'm very happy with this shoot and feel its an improvement from my last.

If I would go back and add to this shoot I would of provided myself with other Christmas decorations with different shapes to show more creativity in my shoots. I would of also taken more photographs to give myself a more variety to choose from when coming to the editing process.

This photograph was taken because of the idea of textures used in fruits was a success therefore I decided to go back to the idea of man made objects. The reason I chose Christmas decorations was because of the festive season being around the time I shot these photographs. The glitter and shiny textures that stand out on the Christmas decorations allow the photographs to look stunning.
