Studio Blurring- Work diary

This photograph was taken using the technique studio blur. This was done by using a slow shutter speed and no usage of lights only the red head. The background was chosen to be black as this was the obvious back drop for this technique. This allows the model who is moving to stand out and show the blurring to be more obvious. The action the model is doing in this photograph is spinning. This is very affective because her head doubles to emphasis the speed she is moving at. Furthermore I especially like how her hair is moving in one direction as this makes this photograph very graceful and eye catching.

This photograph was also captured for the technique of studio blurring. This photograph shows a different movement to the photograph above as the model is swinging her arms up and down. I captured the photograph when she was raising one arm and dropping the other. I feel this looks very eye catching as it shows a wild side to her personality and brings out more positivity in this blurring photograph. Furthermore to improve this photograph I could of taken it portrait to get all her body in to show a party vibe to the photograph.

If I would go back and add to this shoot I would spend more time to capture more photographs and I would also take more photographs where all her body was in the shot. However I really like the photographs I have captured and feel that this technique was challenging however the outcome was very successful in my eyes.
