Location Portraiture- Work diary

This photograph was taken for the technique location portraiture and shows the technique wide angle as well. This photograph was chosen to be taken in this position as it allows the background to converge as it gets further away from the main focus. I really like how I had captured Taylor from the waist upwards so that I get more of her body language in it and also makes her look the same height as the buildings which makes this photograph look unique. Furthermore to edit this photograph was very simple as I just adjusted the curves and levels to enhance the colours in the whole photographs and then sharpened it to make it look very clear to look at. Overall I feel that this photograph meets the requirements for the technique location portraiture very well.
This photograph was taken for the technique location portraiture and shows my models 'Beth' very close up ad the buildings showing a depth behind her. Because Beth is closer she is seen as the dominant figure in this photograph which gives this photograph a serious and professional feel to it. To edit this photograph I adjusted the curves and levels and then converted the whole photograph to black and white. I then rubbed out the background to its original colours to produce a very stunning photograph.

If I would go back to this shoot I would of taken more photographs from a low angle as I took a lot of photographs from close up or from a high angle.
