This is the first time I went out and took photographs for location portraiture and to begin with it was a struggle to focus my camera on the main focus and blur the background. However as I took several photographs my technique became better and my photographs were meeting the requirements of the technique much better. In these photographs above I really like how focused and sharp Taylor and Beth are as this allows the depth of field to be shown in the background and making it more obvious to consumers that these photographs are using the technique wide angle and depth of field. Furthermore the colours in these photographs are very bright and clear which makes these photographs very successful. However to improve these photographs I should be more creative and experiment with low and high angles.
