Keith Taylor

Keith Taylor's photography focuses a lot on close ups and he says that close up photography opens up a whole new world of vibrant colours and striking patterns. His photographs are all taken either at Cambridge university or in his own back garden. I really like how his close up photographs of flowers and plants detail is immense and the colours are so bright my attention was caught immediately. 

Robert Thompson

Robert Thompson work is all on animals and close ups. He focuses on mainly amphibians and insects. He travels places like France to capture his photographs and the very best of his work are shown on magazine front covers and in magazines. I really like how all his photographs are different but all show the same detail and sharpness. I especially like how he captures animals beauty while in action or in still movement.

Martin Schoeller is a photographer that captures close up photography of faces and face features. His photographers are mainly of well known celebrities that society know very well. I really like how stripped down the faces of all the celebrities and shows there natural beauty and detailed features. The complexion of the faces are very clear and fresh and makes all the photographs refreshing to look at.

Suren Manvelyan

Suren Manvelyon is a photographer who focuses on close up's of the eyes. All her work is amazing and the detail shown in each photograph is incredible. I really like how she takes her photographs from all different angles from straight on and low and high angles. This shows the human eye in different perspectives to make the detail and colours of them more interesting and intriguing to look at.

Stephen Cacciatore captures close up photography of nature. All his work has been taken with a lot of thought behind the composition and framing this is because each photograph has its own difference about it. The bright and vibrant colours in all his photographs are my favourite part as it brings out all the detail of the flowers and makes a stunning photograph.

Heather Angle captures photographs of wild life, nature and food. I really like her work because it has versatility to it as its not just focusing on one topic of close ups. Therefore it gives me a lot of inspiration. I exspecially like how her close ups are extreme close ups and the framing of them are so tight that the photograph only shows a small and sharp section of for example an animals eye. This allows the detail to be shown much clearer and better.

Ross Hoddinott from a young age had a passion for the natural world which is why he photographes it. His work is all photographs of the natural world however a technique he has taken that inspires me is close up. His close up photographs are very dark and mysterious and this is what makes his work different to other close up photographs. I really like that his work shows a silhouette in them as well.

Andrew Osokins is a photographer that has captured close up photographs of snow flakes. I really like how his photographs are very unique and capture the different sections of a snow flake to show how snow flakes striking patterns are stunning to look further into. I also like the idea of capturing snow flakes as its something that not many people photograph.

David Busch's is a photographer who writes guides on tips and techniques for close up photography. Therefore his photographs are going to be very clear that they are close ups and will show a range for ideas for people who have a passion for close ups. His photographs are all captured of nature and wild life and I really like how all his photographs are very high quality and the colours are so bright they make the photographs very eye catching to observe.

Amy Postle is a photographer who captures women hood and what I like about her photographs is that she tries to promote that women should be confident with themselves and their figures that they have. She also photographs close ups as an example above is shown. I really like how most of her photographs are in black and white as this shows close up in a different way and makes the detail to be focused on more as the colours have gone.

Graham Owen is a macro photographer who photographs nature and insects. I found his work very appealing and inspirational as it grabbed my attention immediately.The close up technique allows the detail of all his work to look sensational. I especially like how his photographs have been edited so well that the photographs look false.

Florian Groehn is a photographer who focuses on objects and furniture. I really like all her photographs because they are very modern and have a uniqueness to them that I haven't come across before. The photograph above shows objects positioned in a random order with emphasis on the glossy texture. I really like how all her photographs have a sleek style to them and make close up photography even better.

Ron Bigelow photographs oceans, deserts, water falls and nature. The nature portfolio of his work was the theme that attracted me the most as they are good inspiration for my own personal project close ups. I really like how vibrant and beaming the colours are in his photographs. As well as how organises his main subject to be a t different angle to create more of a stunning picture.

Dave Wood is a macro photographer who focuses on water drops. The photographs he captures are very simple but look amazing as the detail to them are immense. His water drop photographs give a more surreal feel on nature and make the photographs look false as they have been edited so well. His message behind all his water drop photographs are that the beauty of nature will always out of man. He has shown the beauty of nature through different angles and vibrant colours.

Alan Harper focuses on photography of landscapes, beauty and nature through out all of his exhibits. The photographs that appeal to me are his close up photography this is because this is my project brief. Furthermore his work all show a warmth to them as the vibrance to them create the colours to be very deep in richness. His aim in photography is to allow his viewers to see his work from fresh eyes and see something they havnt realised is part of our world.

Randovan Rinaldi is a graphic designer who is in love with photography and his love for photography has lead him to photograph macro often. What interests me about his photographs are that they show the texture of the flowers extremely well as they show the water drops clearly on the photographs which make them look amazing to look at. This photographer also focuses on landscapes and archetech however these don't show close up's therefore not being relevant to my project.

Niko Vass is a macro photographer who lives in sydney Australia. He draws and photographs a huge diversity of photographs. His passion for art lead to his passion of photography. The key features he uses in his work are minimalism, bold colours and tight compostion to make his photographs stand out from all the other macro photographers. His work always contains different shades of the same colours to create different emotions and space.

Shikhei Goh

Shikhei Goh is a photographer who captures nature in action using the technique close ups. His magnificent work focuses on insects eyes and their actions which one is shown above. I really like how his work has bright vibrant colours in them and the technique close up brings these out. In his work he includes many formal elements that I had learnt in my first project in photograph the one shown above is shadows. This makes this photograph look amazing as its gives it a complex look to it.

Alessandro is a photographer who photographs close up techniques the reason I am researching this photographer is because he photographs close ups which is my project brief. He says that wild life is often imperceptible, yet ready to show its beauty. This quote he has stated is shown through out all of his photographs as the beauty of his photographers stand out. I really like how he involves blur in his photographs which make the vibrant colours stand out even more. 

Scott Mead

Scott mead photographs fine art photographs and focusing on close ups to create photographs that have a sense of harmony and peace to them. In his work he photographs tress and landscapes which express the beauty of nature using the technique close ups. I feel that his work is going to be a great inspiration to me because his photographs of nature and surreal imagery shown above will allow me to gain influence for my own work.
